My stay was quite frustrating due to lack of an elevator, which led to cumbersome trips up and down the stairs with my luggage. The room felt outdated, and I found it to be overpriced considering the amenities. Additionally, the location was inconvenient, being a bit far from public transport, making it challenging to explore the city.

Delicious breakfast to start the day

Our stay at Pension Katrin was delightful, largely thanks to the excellent service from Sandra, who eagerly assisted us with local recommendations and organized transport with ease. The breakfast was nothing short of spectacular—think mouthwatering homemade cakes, vibrant fresh fruit salad, and a wide range of cold meats and cheeses. Every detail was well thought out, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it feel like home.

On the downside, while the mattress was a bit too firm for my liking, it may suit some preferences. The noise from the nearby road could also be noticeable at times, especially with the window open. However, with the windows closed, soundproofing did a solid job. So, if you're a light sleeper, requesting a room at the back might be a good idea.

I enjoyed a comfortable bed after a day of exploring. Breakfast absolutely shone with variety, from fresh fruit salad to cold meats and homemade cakes. Everything was impeccably clean. However, the wifi was a bit unreliable during my stay, which could be frustrating. Though the location is slightly outside the center, I managed a pleasant 20-minute walk. The noise from the main road was noticeable at times, particularly with the windows open. Overall, it was a wonderful base for my Salzburg adventures, but small improvements could make it even better.

We spent three days in Salzburg and Pension Katrin was the perfect base for our adventures. Sandra was incredibly helpful, sharing tips on public transport and arranging taxis whenever we needed. The room was cozy and tastefully refurbished, and the breakfast offered a fantastic spread including delicious cold meats, seasonal fruit salad, and homemade cakes. Sleeping well was easy after a day of exploring, and overall, every detail made our stay special.

The breakfast spread? Outta this world! Fresh fruit salad and eggs boiled just right. Sandra's got it down, super chill and helpful. Room was spotless, perfect for crashin’ after a day of walkin’ around the city. Convenient parking, too! Only thing? WiFi could use some sprucin’ up before checkin’ out.

Just a good pick for a transient visit in Salzburg with extraordinarily good value for money. The check-in process was super friendly and welcoming, making the long drive well worth it. Take advantage of the breakfast offerings. they’re simple but quite filling.

The Standard Single Room was spacious and very clean, which made it super comfy. I loved having tea and coffee making facilities, and a mini fridge was a nice touch. The atmosphere was quiet, perfect for relaxing after exploring. Though I didn’t use the mini bar, there’s a Spar nearby if you want to stock up. A small downside was some noise from the main road, but with the windows closed, it was alright.

The twin room was super cozy with a private bathroom, flat-screen TV, and tea/coffee maker. We had a lovely balcony to enjoy the fresh air. Everything was spotless and well-equipped with free toiletries and the essentials. Breakfast included fresh fruit, cheeses, and more. The location was great for exploring the city.
