I had a small room it was bright. The breakfast was gorgeous with a homemade cake and well-sourced preserves, as for instance and the restaurant food was local. The location was marvellous close to the Old Town and met what was needed.

Rooms feel a bit outdated and lack air conditioning. Reaching the second-floor room requires navigating stairs, which may be inconvenient for those with mobility issues. TV options are limited, with only a few English-language channels available, perhaps not a major concern for most, but worth noting for those who may want to catch up on news.

The rooms were spotless and luxurious with good facilities, good wardrobe space and coffee. The staff was incredibly friendly and pretty friendly, as well as hostess. The hotel had a favourable location walking distance from an art gallery.

The breakfast had excellent variety and local specialties.

The room felt outdated, and I found it to be overpriced considering the amenities. The location was inconvenient, being a bit far from public transport.

Delicious breakfast to start the day

The breakfast was nothing short of lovely-think mouthwatering homemade cakes, vibrant fresh fruit salad, and a wide range of cold meats and cheeses. Every detail was well thought out, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

On the downside, while the mattress was a bit too firm for my liking, it may suit some preferences. The noise from the nearby road could also be noticeable at times, especially with the window open. With the windows closed, soundproofing did a solid job. So, if you're a light sleeper, requesting a room at the back might be a good idea.

Pension Katrin offered a good stay with a noticeably friendly atmosphere. The room I stayed in featured clever use of space, recently refurbished to a high standard. I enjoyed a comfortable bed after a day of exploring. Breakfast shone with variety, from fresh fruit salad to cold meats and homemade cakes. Everything was impeccably clean. The wifi was a bit unreliable . Though the location is slightly outside the center, I managed a pleasant 20-minute walk. The noise from the main road was noticeable at times, particularly with the windows open. It was a wonderful base for my Salzburg adventures, but small improvements could make it even better.

Excellent breakfast variety

We spent three days in Salzburg and Pension Katrin was the perfect base for our adventures. Sandra was helpful, sharing tips on public transport and arranging taxis whenever we needed. The room was cozy and tastefully refurbished, and the breakfast offered a fantastic spread including delicious cold meats, seasonal fruit salad, and homemade cakes. Sleeping well was easy after a day of exploring, and overall, every detail.

Room was super clean, perfect for crashin' after a day of walkin' around the city. Convenient parking, too! Only thing? WiFi could use some sprucin' up before checkin' out.

Just a good pick for a transient visit in Salzburg with extraordinarily good value for money. The check-in process was super friendly and cute, making the long drive well worth it. Take advantage of the breakfast offerings. They're simple but quite filling.

The Standard Single Room was spacious and very clean, super comfy. I loved having tea and coffee making facilities, and a mini fridge was a nice touch. The atmosphere was quiet. Though I didn't use the mini bar, there's a Spar nearby if you want to stock up. A small downside was some noise from the main road, but with the windows closed, it was alright.
